Impermanence
There is a place where happiness consists in contentment. A place where simplicity still survives intact. Where residents are deeply connected to their religious roots, living in inner harmony. This place is located in the Nepalese Himalayas and it is known as the area of Upper Mustang: The Hidden Kingdom. No Westerner has set foot inside of this last outpost of Tibetan culture for centuries. These days roadwork starts cutting through this untouched society and modern world slowly creeps in. Buddhist values are facing an uncertain future. This photography series is portraying the atmosphere of absolute attendance in this very present moment of this undistorted region awaiting its transformation.
